Does Anyone Use a Steamer Anymore?

I mean, seriously, it's such a simple gadget. There's no need for any fancy models or brand names. It's just a steamer and it's perfection.

I bought one two months ago and use it all the time! I started just steaming broccoli, frozen green beans, carrots. But, then I moved on to potatoes, sweet potatoes, squash. Is it possible to steam meat? Just wondering.

I Ordered/Made This Food, Doesn't it look good?! Part 4

Here is a wonderful appetizer I ordered over spring break. It's a light pear and italian soft cheese crostini drizzled with honey and sprinkled with thyme. Wow.
