Couscous Mania!

In the last two weeks, I have made two recipes involving couscous. They both were really good and I recommend them. One can be found here (superfoods: pumpkin and tomatoes) and the other one called "Vicki's Chicken and Grapes over Couscous" isn't online but is found in the book which I got for a gift. This last one calls for a mixture of half & half and grainy mustard as the sauce over chicken and sliced red grapes. This may sound kinda gross, but it was pretty good, but I also like wierd textured foods.

My fave sushi is the sweetened tofu/egg pocket with rice and a roll that isnt wrapped with seaweed, but the skin of cucumbers. yum.

I think I need to try to make some sushi at home, not the raw fish kind (even though that's yum too).

The beauty of the grape

Just chemistry today, no cooking. The compound I made today in the lab was this SAME green grape color!

Oh, I should include superfood (see post) count today: 2.

So, I like taking pictures of the food I order at restaurants or make. It's fun for me. So here is the first installment of " I ordered/made this food, doesn't it look good!?"

A lovely grilled tuna nicoise salad, alfresco.
